OVNi Objectif Video Nice (UFO in french) is organizing its 5th year of programming from November 22nd to December 1st. Nice will be concurrently celebrating the 100th anniversary of Victorine Studios, an historic place for the film Industry on the French Riviera. For 2019, this festival OVNi, sponsored by agnès b. will feature videos inspired by cinema throughout its various exhibition spaces, and will be divided into 3 parts :

OVNi in the city, OVNi at the Hotel and OVNi Galleries – Camera Camera salon :

OVNi in the city (Nov 22 – Dec 1) offers a video tour of Nice museums, cultural centers, private apartments and underground venues such as MAMAC, Pole 109 and for one night

OVNi at the Hotel (29 Nov – 1 Dec) will open the doors of several hotels throughout the city to the public with french and foreign art installations located within the rooms and reception areas of these prime locations.

OVNi Galleries – Camera Camera Fair (29 Nov – 1 Dec) offers an art walk through the renowned Windsor Hotel, that will feature plastic works and video art, between “light rooms” and “dark rooms”, in addition to a special transformation of the lobby and garden. A professional jury will reward the best video and in-room projects conceived for this occasion.

Exhibitions, concerts, round tables and workshops will punctuate this festival to encourage meetings and exchanges between institutions, gallerists, collectors, artists and lovers of video and contemporary art, creating a unique annual artistic rendezvous in Nice (France).
